Today we’d like to introduce you to Junior Garcia.
Junior, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I moved from Cincinnati, OH to Miami 4 years ago with one vision, to create beautiful visuals for any opportunity I was given. So far the ride has been amazing.
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s definitely been a rough ride. From the moment left Cincinnati everything started going wrong for me. From the engine overheating on my 2 door car because of too much weight to my future landlord in Miami renting the unit to someone else before I arrived to all my savings disappearing by the time I actually got to Miami due to all the last minute expenses that I had to make.
The first 6 months was definitely a rough road but I was able to believe in myself and push through it no matter what.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Dream Light Visuals story. Tell us more about the business.
Dream Light Visuals specialize in creating beautiful wedding films but what sets us apart from others is how much we truly care about our clients most special day. What sets us apart from others is making our couples feel comfortable on their wedding day to capture their true personality to include in their films.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the wedding cinematography industry changing dramatically in the next few years since there’s so much new technology coming out every day. I believe most wedding films will really start to look more and more like movies and that will have to do a lot with what will come after that.
